About Lessons

     Whether you're a beginner just starting out or  already an experienced player looking to jump to that next level, I can  definitely help you advance on the 4,5 or 6 string electric bass,  acoustic/upright bass or guitar.

      As a professional bassist with 30 years of playing experience, I am  able to combine my working knowledge with years of music education to  offer the student a comprehensive and progressive study program.

      I believe in building well-rounded musicians who can apply everything  they have learned to any musical situation in which they are involved.

     I have distilled years of study into lessons which can teach students to:

• READ MUSIC - both notation and chord charts

• IMPROVISE - over rock or jazz songs plus other styles
  
• LEARN MUSIC THEORY - that you can use right away.
  
• LEARN DIFFERENT STYLES - rock, jazz, slap, funk, latin
  

   R&B, reggae, punk, pop, church music, ska, country, 

   orchestral, and more!!!

      I have also created my own unique system and lessons, found nowhere  else, designed to teach students how to improvise and create their own  bass lines.
     With my large, song library of personally transcribed bass charts, the  student will have fun and gain a huge musical foundation on which he or  she can build for the rest of their lives.
